Research and Development
Research & Development at Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc. is composed of several groups: Product and Process Development (PPD; Formulations), Analytical Development (Analytical R&D; AR&D), Clinical Research, Project Management and Regulatory Affairs. R&D supports the pipeline and commercial strategies for our Fougera (generics) and PharmaDerm (branded products) divisions. We currently have over 20 projects in our development pipeline that are supported by project teams led by Project Management. The focus of R&D at Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc. is dermatology and we have extensive expertise in virtually all topical formulations. These include creams, ointments, gels, lotions, foams, and sprays. Within dermatology, we have developed products for use in acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, actinic keratosis, genital warts and others. Our regulatory group has considerable expertise in the submission of both generic ANDAs and branded NDAs.
