Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc. operates two pharmaceutical manufacturing plants located in Hicksville and Melville, NY (Long Island). Both locations have been expanded periodically to keep pace with continued growth of the business. The combined manufacturing capacity of these locations exceeds 5 million Kg per year of topical, non-sterile, ointments, creams and liquids produced in some of the latest, fully instrumented manufacturing equipment and more traditional manufacturing equipment.
Packaging operations at both sites are matched to the production capacity and have the capability to fill tubes, foil packs, jars and bottles as well as more sophisticated patient-ready packages. There are multiple high speed, fully automated packaging lines capable of producing over 800 million individual packages per year.
